The Ministry of Scott & Tessa Thomas
Simplicity describes this ministry more than anything else. The ministry of Scott & Tessa comes in three parts, and always involves the local fundamental church.
First, Scott Thomas' heart-desire is to preach the gospel. He has been preaching since 1986 and continues on today. Many church pastors have Scott to come to preach on Sunday Morning, Sunday Night, or both services. In addition, he preaches revivals or in campmeetings. Your pulpit and your people will be safe if you have him to preach. His preaching is KJV Bible preaching and he is a gentleman in the pulpit; he is a firm preacher that takes a fundamental stand, but he is not a preacher that beats up on people. If you would like to consider having Brother Scott, contact him at 678 563-7011. Feel free to question his beliefs and request a preaching CD.
Second, Scott & Tessa have a traditional singing ministry that is geared toward encouraging true old-fashioned worship. Using only the church piano, Scott and Tessa sings at revivals and campmeetings on a regular basis. Usally, they sing songs like "Thank You Lord For Your Blessings On Me," "Whatever It Takes," "Dear To Me." and "Thank God For My Christian Home," "I Have Not Forgotten," "God Still Answers Prayers." Don't be surprised if they start to testify and shout. It never bothers them when others start to testify or coming to the altar as well. They promote the move of God and the old-time fundamental worship atmosphere. If you would like to consider having Scott & Tessa Thomas at your church to sing, call 678 563-7011.
Third, Scott and Tessa sing with Ricky Atkinson. The group is called Ricky Atkinson & Compassion. The trio usually sings in concert settings but also do certain revivals and campmeetings. Ricky has written such songs as "This Valley Is For Me," "Resting Place," "Blessed Be The Name Of The Lord," and "I Have Not Forgotten." To book Ricky Atkinson & Compassion for your singing, revival, or campmeeting contact Ricky Atkinson at 229 776-7120.
